Jets fans were surprised Instagram comments attracted the anger of Jamal Adams

Jonathan Abrahams wants to straighten out all the critics who are ready to take their rights to become Jets fans.

He thought the Jets had to re-sign Jamal Adams. He thinks Adams deserves to be the highest-paid safety in the NFL. He once took a picture with his mother, nephew, and Adams when they had a small talk at a charity event.

And now Abrahams is mistaken when a Jets fan who pushed the biggest team stars to ask for a trade after his comments on Instagram pushed Adams’s latest rants to voice his frustration with his contract, followed a few hours later by an official trading request.

“Who would expect a reply?” Abrahams told The Post. “I saw the little red dot reply to me and I clicked on it and suddenly I was like,” Is this actually from Jamal Adams? Here it responds to me? “I am surprised.”

Abrahams is an unlikely middle man – a 47-year-old New Yorker who has been a fan since his mother took him to practice to meet with Richard Todd and other 1970s Jets – in a dispute that began in October when insulted Adams was mentioned in trade talks.

Adams had carried out a general war for the extension and lifting of all offseason, and seemed destined to hold on and ask for trade sooner or later.

“I’ve been a Jets fan all my life and I’ve never had this much control from an organization,” joked Abrahams. “This is crazy.”

He joked

It began with this message from Abrahams: “Love your game Jamal and you are a great man. And yes, you certainly deserve to be paid this year or next year. But Pat Mahomes I have to have [say]. Super Bowl MVP and the same year as you. The fans and team love you. Don’t be that man Good luck this season. Go Jets! “

The words lit a powder barrel. Insulted for being “that person,” Adams ended his answer with, “Maybe it’s time to move on.”

“I’m not just the ‘me’ type of man,” Abrahams said. “It’s only mine. There are always ways to handle things at home. I mention Mahomes which means you talk about NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP and I didn’t hear him complain about the Kansas City Head or announce it in the media that he hasn’t received a contract.”

Abrahams had seen Adams called a crybaby (and worse) by Jets fans, so he didn’t know why his words hit a place that hurts. They traded several more messages before Adams blocked Abrahams’s account and erased his personal thorn.

The reaction from Jets fans has been split between rational and those who are ready to blame Abrahams for driving Adams out of the city. Even Abraham’s 20-year-old nephew is angry, but he takes the unexpected attention calmly.

“I tell anyone who complains, first of all, if I comment like that to Jamal Adams is the reason why he wants to be traded is ridiculous. If anyone believes that is actually the reason, they have some serious problems,” Abrahams said.

“He’ll be gone for a while. He can ask for trade, get out of here, never wear green again and burn his things – and I don’t think he really cares, honest with you. I’ve spent my whole life rooting for The Jets and I have loved so many players through thick and thin with them. I can’t be traded the next day. “

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
