This 23-year-old Texas woman is taking precautions and is still getting a coronavirus
After Texas stayed home the order ended April 30 and several businesses were opened, he cautiously left. Although preliminary data indicate Covid-19 is most dangerous for parents, Chesser is careful, he told CNN’s Erica Hill on Wednesday.

“I will not go to crowded restaurants. I will not go to crowded places in general (or) social settings,” he recalls.

He continued his shopping trip and even returned to the gym. And right at that moment, with frustration, he came down with Covid-19. He still doesn’t know where he took it.

“That was one of the first things I said, was, ‘How can I get this?'” Chesser said. “I really want to get it because it all started in March, February.”

“So when I actually took it and I couldn’t determine it, finally I had to really let it go, because it didn’t change the fact that I had it or not,” he said.

Coronavirus has moved to a younger population throughout the US and is particularly soaring among young people in the South and West, health officials say.
The risk of serious complications and death increases with age, says the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, although there is no clear age limit for higher or lower risks.

And Robert Redfield, director of the CDC, chose the younger generation specifically on Tuesday, asking them to take preventative measures seriously, because even if they were likely to die of Covid-19, they could play an important role in transmitting this disease. for others.

He specifically asked them to wear masks, which according to health officials could help prevent infected people – even people who did not know they were infected – from spreading the virus.

“Specifically, I speak with younger members of our society, the Millennium and Generation Z – I ask those who listen to spread the word,” Redfield said on Tuesday during a US Senate hearing.

Chesser was seriously ill for eight days, he told CNN.

“At first, I had terrible skin sensitivity, headaches, coughs, sore throats,” he said. “And then around Day 4 … is when I lose my sense of smell and taste.”

He said he almost never had a fever – the highest temperature he knew was 99.6 or 99.7 degrees Fahrenheit.

Chesser believes the Texas business is reopening too early, he said. Responding to the increasing number of cases, the state closed last month for the second time – and he said he thought this made people “realize how serious this is.”
Chesser also hopes that more people will take precautions such as wearing masks, he said.

“Just do your part and take care of everyone in the community, because we owe each other things, to do small things that can have a huge impact,” he said.

Andrea Kane and Amanda Watts from CNN contributed to this report.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
