Portuguese government announces new measures to contain the micron wave

The closure of discos and dance-floor bars that the government has designated for the mainland in the first week of January will be pushed back to Saturday the 25th, the executive said today. The decision takes effect from 00:00 Saturday.

“We are going to introduce a measure to reduce the capacity of retail space by one person for every five square meters to avoid gatherings that take place during the week after Christmas to exchange gifts,” he explained.

The prime minister announced that the number of free screening tests for COVID-19 will increase from four to six per person per month as part of the response to the pandemic.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.
