Here are my comments from the test PC DF Portuguese for or for Registrar.
We will wait for the publication of the official review from the organizer and, if there are significant discrepancies, we will offer the appropriate resources.
There is no dialogue with the subjects of the verbs “say” (some observers) and “assert” (Frank Zimring), since the author does not refer to them, but accepts them as a reference to support his arguments. It is to the interlocutor (recipient) that the speaker (sender) addresses.
QUESTION 02
Informal Template: RIGHT
The form “will happen” has been used instead of “will happen,” and both mention possible future action in the past. The form “would have happened” corresponds to the future past tense of the compound call, which is equivalent to the simple form “would have happened.”
The change suggested by the “incident” – the imperfect tense of the indicative word – retains the correction, but changes the original meaning, since there is no longer any mention of a possible future action, but only a continuous, habitual past. On the other hand, replacing with “occurs” retains the correction and the original meaning.
QUESTION 03
Informal Template: RIGHT
Note that “and” links two sentences with different subjects. Thus, the comma before this conjunction is optional, so omitting this punctuation does not cause grammatical damage.
Note that the second letter “a” before the word “prevention” is an article, not a preposition. This is evidenced by the parallelism of the construction “predicted battle … and prevention …”.
QUESTION 05
Unofficial Template: WRONG
The transition from “realization” to “realization” changes the original meaning. The first means “put into practice” and the second means “start”. The first stage of “implementation” is “implementation”.
QUESTION 06
Unofficial Template: WRONG
The text is not intended directly for women, but for the general reader. Its main goal is to draw attention to the problem of violence against women.
QUESTION 07
Informal Template: WRONG
There are no elements in the text to suggest that a femicide law was recently passed at the time of writing. When using extra-text elements, the production date is 2014. Femicide Law – 2015.
QUESTION 08
Informal Template: RIGHT
The text suggests that female aggressors use the privacy of their homes as a safe haven to go unpunished for their violent actions.
QUESTION 09
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! The purpose of the text is to defend the importance of the topic of violence against women, especially in the domestic sphere. For this, data, facts and figures are provided, confirming the relevance of the topic.
QUESTION 10
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! The resulting construction is perfectly correct, given that it maintains parallelism between the three adjectives: “violence … which brings about loneliness”; “Others who celebrate the law …”; and “others destroying life …”.
This is an extrapolation. This is not to say that such a number of lawsuits have disappeared, since it is quite possible that many of these cases did not even become legal proceedings.
QUESTION 12
Informal Template: RIGHT
Note that the adverb “so” expresses mood. Thus, the substitution “in this way” retains correctness and meaning.
QUESTION 13
Informal Template: RIGHT
Exactly. The author acknowledges that the text of the criminal penalty cannot fully convey the suffering of women who have been raped, but it helps to highlight the problem by highlighting the role of women victims.
QUESTION 14
Unofficial Template: WRONG
The term “by gender” refers to the reason for the murder of women, not the agent’s idea.
QUESTION 15
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! The highlighted sentence acts as an indirect object of the verb “believe”. The preposition “in” is meant before the whole conjunction “that”, which is possible when there is an indirect object or nominal addition of sentences.
“If” surrounded by the indirect transitive verb “believe” acts as an indicator of the subject’s ambiguity.
QUESTION 16
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! The character reports episodes in which her partner raped her verbally and psychologically.
QUESTION 17
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! These are synonymous words.
QUESTION 18
Informal Template: RIGHT
In fact! I understand that passivity manifests itself in the character’s lack of initiative in order to respond to the partner’s rudeness, ending a sterile relationship. She chose not to face reality for fear of loneliness.
In fact! The statement contains the question: “Has anyone thought about buying a new dental floss?” This is an indirect questioning.
QUESTION 20
Unofficial Template: WRONG
The subordinate conjunction “When” acts as a cursing factor, causing the oblique pronoun to be placed before the verb. Thus, the proposal to rewrite – with the “if” enclite – is incorrect.
QUESTION 21
Informal Template: RIGHT
The forms “accepted” and “thought” are more than ideal transitions of the past tense in a composite form. In simple form, they correspond to the constructions “lead” and “thought”.
QUESTION 22
Unofficial Template: WRONG
Calling his companion “princess”, Fernando treats her not with love, but with derision.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.
According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”
In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.
The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.
In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.
From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.
Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.
“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.
“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
