Braga builders lag behind European millions.  Grupo Casais condemns STD support

The exclusion of a €47 million investment in sustainable industrial construction submitted by the Casais Group from the Recovery and Resilience Plan was not approved in the second phase of the Business Innovation Mobilization Program, leading to the construction of Braga condemned by the “rival” Grupo DST , also from Braga, fearing that it would “save” the investment coming from the bazooka into a sustainable industrial area. Despite the “failure”, the Casais project will indeed be implemented, even without the support of European funds.

Information provided exclusively by the newspaper Eco, to which Casais CEO Antonio Carlos Rodríguez said that the “rejection” given by the investment coordinators would harm Portugal and the Portuguese, but it would not be something that would hinder the project, which was already underway. The consortium consists of 23 “benchmark” companies and, according to the administrator, can “permanently generate wealth” that will benefit the entire country.

But let’s explain what we’re talking about: a consortium led by Casais wants to build four new sustainable building factories by 2026, including a materials assembly plant. However, the project did not receive a positive evaluation from the committee. Last week, Braga challenged that decision by sending out “clarifications and clarifications” to the five elements that make up the evaluation panel.

In the document challenging the decision, the group refers to Ecothat “Caais is the only company on the market that has already implemented these practical and concrete examples.” If the challenge is not answered, the project will continue, António Rodriguez assures, with or without European money.

The same response document refers to Eco, there is also a lengthy critique of two projects by the “rival” group DST, also from Braga, which were approved by the PRR. In addition to these two, there are two more approved through Efacec that are being negotiated between the state and DST. In total, four projects can be associated with the Domingos Teixeira group, which will receive European support from the bazooka. And there are a lot of funds: 215 million for the first DST project and 239 for the second. Efacec projects amount to 342 million in the first and 307 million in the second (more than one billion euros across four projects).

Finally, Kasais argues that “points of contact [nos quatro projetos] there are countless of them”, denouncing the “concentration of support” aimed at competing builders in Braga, which Casais considers “incomprehensible” as it puts “all eggs in one basket”.

The Director General of Casais recalls that there are restrictions proposed by the European Commission that are contrary to this support concentrated in one group, leaving the risk in the air that the Commission could intervene if it considers this way of distributing support illegal. He also reminds that if one of the projects fails, it can infect others belonging to the same group, which will lead to irreparable collapse and tarnish the image of the country in the eyes of European partners.

The DST has not yet commented on this matter.

“The Centodieci combines all the values ​​of the Bugatti brand in an extraordinary package: rarity, innovation, heritage, craftsmanship and unrivaled performance. The production batch of 10 units was so in demand by our customers that it was sold before the Centodieci. was even officially presented,” said Christophe Piochon, president of Bugatti.

This latest example is finished in Quartz White with carbon fiber trim on the bottom and matte grilles. The brake calipers are painted in Light Blue Sport, as is the logo on the rear that refers to the EB110, the iconic Bugatti model that inspired this Centodieci. Inside, the predominant color is also blue, as you can see in the images above.

This block is powered by the same block as the other nine instances. The 8.0-liter W16 with four turbines is capable of developing 1600 hp. In terms of performance, this allows the Centodieci to hit 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 380 km/h.

Recall that each unit costs the owners eight million euros before taxes.

The Jogger Hybrid 140, Dacia’s first hybrid, will hit dealerships in March, but customers can expect and order it as early as January.

The price has been revealed by Dacia and since it’s only available in the seven-seater SL Extreme, it starts at €28,800. The brand claims it is “the most affordable hybrid family car on the market.”

Available in six existing colors to celebrate the launch of this hybrid, there will be a slate gray version, as you can see in the images above.

Equipped with a 1.6 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 90 hp, the Jogger is also powered by two electric motors (a 50 hp engine and a high-voltage starter-generator). The total power is 140 horsepower. The electric transmission is automatic, four-speed, connected to an internal combustion engine, and two speeds are connected to an electric motor. This combined technology was possible, according to Dacia, only due to the lack of clutch.

Combined with the energy recovery levels of the 1.2kWh (230V) battery pack and the efficiency of the automatic transmission, regenerative braking delivers all-electric traction on 80% of urban journeys and saves up to 40% of fuel compared to a combustion engine vehicle.
