Very good news for Hyundai: all Ioniq 6 First Edition models in Europe were sold by the South Korean brand in less than a day. Pre-sales of the launch version of the model began on the 9th in Germany, France, Great Britain, Norway and the Netherlands, and 2500 produced cars found a buyer.

Customers will now receive their new car between March and April 2023, and otherwise those who did not arrive on time for the first version will receive an offer from the dealership at a later date. “This extraordinary interest and demand for the Ioniq 6 First Edition reinforces Hyundai’s leadership in zero-emission mobility,” said Ulrich Mechau, vice president of sales and service, Hyundai Motor Europe. The official launch of Hyundai Ioniq 6 should take place before the end of this year in the European market.

Hyundai Ioniq 6 is the new flagship of electric vehicles of the South Korean brand. Introduced in 2021, the Ioniq 6 impresses with its autonomy, guaranteed by a 77.4 kWh battery that provides 519 kilometers on the WLTP cycle. To reduce charging time, Hyundai has integrated a battery heating system that adapts battery temperature to optimize charging. The aerodynamic design has been carefully studied to guarantee greater autonomy.
