It is the result of many years of development, testing and hard work,” explained Christian Lowstedt, Managing Director of Midjiwan AB. “The update brings our game to a new level of difficulty and fun. Check out the trailer and details below:

New diplomacy features allow players to form alliances with other humans and AI, build embassies, find other players’ capitals, send spies, and launch sophisticated sneak attacks from what may seem like the wilderness. Players need to be alert and know how to master and reflect new tools in their arsenal.

Diplomacy technology can be used in both single player and multiplayer modes. Essentially, the technology was created for players to team up to defeat larger enemies. In the end, however, there will only be one winner…

Key features of Diplomacy technology:

peace treaties “Befriend old enemies…until one of you wants to.” Teammates cannot attack each other and share roads.
hidden units – These infiltration specialists are trained in the art of subterfuge and covert operations, and they arrive armed with two new abilities: stealth and infiltration. Hidden units are invisible to enemy units until they take an action.
Relations between tribes – With the system of relations between tribes, you can think about which tribe you can ally with. Colored bubbles explain in detail what the tribes think of you.
embassies – Diplomatic buildings that can only be built in the capitals of other tribes when players are not at war with them. Embassies open 8 surrounding blocks and generate cash rewards every turn.
daggers – The rebels are incited by disguised units to attack the enemy city. Daggers are specialized surprise attack guerrilla units, meaning that enemies will not retaliate when attacked.
View of the capitals – See the location of the capital of any tribe you encounter. The capital view also works when players are introduced to someone new, which helps with tactical decisions.
