Rio-Pretense Varanda Teatro is participating for the first time at Imaginarius, the Santa Maria da Feira International Street Theater Festival in Portugal, which is held in a hybrid format, with virtual and face-to-face events until next Sunday, March 30th. … The company is present with “[Histórias encaixotadas]”, a show that is the result of his research in theater licking.
A video version of an animation show developed for the lick-and-lick format will be shown, in which the work is contemplated by only one viewer through a hole in a black box.
Presentations “[Histórias encaixotadas]”starts this Friday 28th and continues until the end of the event, always at 12:00 (Brasilia time), on the digital stage of Parque das Ribeiras do Uíma. The Imaginarius festival is competitive, with the Rio-Pretense band claiming a place in Santa Maria da Feira. The result of this art residency will be a show to be presented at the 2022 event. The public participates in the popular vote, and the works are also evaluated by a technical jury.
