(Review) Samsung Galaxy A33 5G: Real Mid-Range?

(Analysis) Samsung Galaxy A33 5G: As we said in the Galaxy A13 review, Samsung always makes a lot of noise with its foldable Galaxy Z, as well as its more traditional high-end smartphones in the form of devices belonging to the Galaxy S line. But do you think Samsung is making real money from this? You are really very wrong. Samsung is and always has been a huge success in the low to mid range.

After all, if you didn’t know, the South Korean giant’s most successful smartphone in 2021 was the Galaxy A12, followed by the Galaxy A11 in 2020, with the very close Galaxy A31 and A32. as they represent the next evolutionary step over the manufacturer’s lower range.

Therefore, after analyzing Galaxy A13and even after comparing it in the field of photography with the Galaxy A33, it’s time to publish our detailed review of the mid/low end device from Samsung. Let’s do it part by part?

(Review) Samsung Galaxy A33 5G: Real Mid-Range?

So, as usual, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is a gem of Samsung, showcasing everything the giant has to offer in terms of design and technology. That said, if there’s one thing that Samsung has learned to do over the last few years, it’s the use of some details that add magic to its most coveted devices in the lower ranges. This is something that I think was better achieved on the Galaxy A33 compared to the significantly more expensive Galaxy A53 which we also had a chance to review.

Something extremely curious, because the Galaxy A33 is not superior in anything, but at the same time, it also does not make any compromises in any of the areas that bring a quality smartphone to life. The Galaxy A33 is an extremely interesting device, beautiful, with good battery life, a powerful camera module, and a level of performance that suits the range.

Design and screen

Well, the Galaxy A33 5G is a device that’s not too big and not too small, it occupies a middle ground of sorts with a design philosophy that clearly comes from the Galaxy S22 line, but that presents a bit of a problem for me. I’m talking about the edge at the bottom of the screen, the “chin”, which is way too prominent and noticeable. In everyday use, you get used to it easily, but when you look at the photo … That’s where I always point my finger and say… “But why!?”.

In addition, if in the higher ranges we no longer have the traditional glass on the back, we now find the famous “Glasstic”, in the Galaxy A line of devices we welcome a less rigid back, and it is for this reason, with more less “feel” Premium. A definite sign of the times.

However, we do have an IP67 certified device as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front. Durability is not a problem.

In terms of screen, we have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel capable of offering 90Hz frame refresh. A clear improvement over last year’s Galaxy A32. Moreover, the screen is very bright and with vibrant colors. Enjoy watching multimedia content.

cameras

We have already made a good comparison with the Galaxy A13, but now let’s look more objectively! Well, first of all, we have the 4-camera module (48MP + 8MP + 5MP + 2MP), which may already have you a little excited, especially since we have the availability of the always coveted OIS (optical image stabilization). But it is, although it is not so here, the quantity is different from the quality, do not be fooled.

In short, the Galaxy A33 isn’t fantastic at taking pictures, but for the range it’s in, it’s extremely versatile and powerful. A device truly designed for social networks.

Want to know how much this device costs? Well, a picture is worth 1000 words:

Autonomy

Samsung is not one of the leaders in the Android world when it comes to batteries, especially when it comes to fast charging technology.

However, in this Galaxy A33 we serve very well the 5000mAh battery and 25W charging capability. But of course there is no charger in the box, it was in the Samsung box. We also don’t have wireless charging, a technology that is still largely reserved for higher ranges from any smartphone manufacturer.

1~2 days of use, pull, very easy to achieve.

Performance

The Galaxy A33 won’t break speed records, but it doesn’t have to. Its day-to-day performance is very interesting and it is well above what the cheapest Galaxy A13 can offer.

If you’re curious, just be aware that you’ll encounter some glitches from time to time. What is starting to be normal in the Samsung Exynos universe (Exynos 1280 in this case).

In addition to the Exynos SoC, we have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. With the possibility of reaching 1 TB, using a microSD card. Do you think 6GB is not enough? Samsung already offers RAM expansion functionality, with the option to get at least 3GB more.

Conclusion

Galaxy A33 is not the best device in its class. However, this is a Samsung Galaxy smartphone with access to the ecosystem and features of the South Korean giant at a more affordable price. In short, this is what will attract consumers.

Are there any cheaper alternatives with the same level of performance or slightly better performance? Yeah. But these are not Samsung devices. Consumers want to make a good purchase, but they also want access to the service and quality that Samsung offers. In this sense, the Galaxy A33 is extremely interesting, especially if you find attractive advertising.

Last month, the solar-powered car released an update to remind us of its time in space.

“I was lucky to live on two planets. Four years ago I made it safely to the second one, much to the joy of my family at first. Thanks to my team for taking me on this journey of discovery. I hope I can be proud of you.”

According to the published mission, Insight has measured more than 1,300 seismic events since it was published, and more than 50 of them had signals clear enough for the team to extract information about their location on Mars. Results.

The probe’s data also provided detailed information about Mars’ interior, liquid core, surprisingly variable remnants beneath the surface of an extinct magnetic field, climate and seismic activity.

old for Its launch in 2018NASA Chief Scientist Jim Green said the mission was “fundamental to understanding the origins of our solar system and how it became what it is today.”

NASA will not declare the mission complete until Insight confirms the arrival of two spacecraft orbiting Mars that are relaying their information back to Earth.

In 2018, the veteran rover announced the capabilities end of his 15 year stay Sending an incomplete photo of the Valley of Perseverance.

A severe dust storm darkened the sky around the solar-powered rover, shattering the sun and leaving behind a dark image with white spots due to camera noise. The transmission is interrupted before the complete image can be transmitted.
