At the time, the Supreme Electoral Court (TSE) stated that her registration was banned because the then-candidate continued to act as parliamentary advisor to Andre Janones even after the inconsistency – mandatory removal so that agents of direct and indirect administration could gain the right – which should take place for three months before applying.

The mayor appealed the decision, and on November 1, the District Electoral Court confirmed the candidacy. The decision was made by federal judge Itelmar Raidan Evangelista.

According to the magistrate, the High Electoral Court (TSE) “has already signed an agreement in the sense that inconsistency is not required when a candidate performs his functions under conditions other than those in which he intends to run for elections.” and, which, in Leandra’s case, means there is no need for a server mismatch since she was performing a function elsewhere, in this case in Brasilia (DF).

Leandra Guedes received 46.67% of the valid votes and was elected with a total of 24,558 votes. She defeated Juninho da JR (Republicans) in runner-up with 18.88% (9,935 votes).

The agreement was approved by a supermajority at a ministerial meeting of member states in Brussels, Belgium, after months of discussions about the best way to contain the rise in natural gas prices in the bloc caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. .

The value set by the countries is well below the proposal made by the European Commission, the EU’s executive body, in November: 275 EUR/MWh. However, the countries leading the cap campaign were in favor of an even lower limit, around 100 EUR/MWh.

Germany, always wary of price controls, voted in favor of 180 euros, while Austria and the Netherlands, also skeptical of the cap, abstained. Hungary, the most pro-Russian country in the EU, voted against.
