And the end of this cycle comes where we least expected, in the end, at least on my part, I expected the educational process to be the only tool capable of overthrowing the throne of these political players who traditionally use this typical method of promoting their brands. : popular “keeps the child next door, and then rubbing alcohol all over the body.”

No one expected that this process would end thanks to a new generation of young people who, being connected by such connections, force politicians to join social media in order to try to please the entire audience. Result? Lack of immediacy. And this is true for one of the most sincere generations of recent times, it is worth noting that the vast majority still do not like to talk about politics. And this makes sense, because we were not taught to talk about it. In schools, we are not enough to ask questions about politics, let alone keep us from any attempts at dialogue that fuels the boundless power of polarization.

Seriously, the World Cup is coming up and I can’t even put on the national jersey …

I say and affirm, even if we don’t have the full knowledge of politics: let’s not lose faith.

Social media ensures a candidate’s sincerity and, when transparency is imperative, reveals exactly what the public wants to know about them: their truth. The stories are now recognized as a deceitful politician.

For everyone who will run this year, I ask: be yourself! And if this is not enough, it means that your project does not correspond to the wishes of the population. Respect and try to help this Brazilian re-development project in some other way, and please stop keeping the kids around. It was only funny in the movie Honest Candidate.

Jokes aside, one of the most important moments of Brazilian democracy and all our actions as leaders will be marked in history. But know that both glory and dishonor will be remembered both in books and in eternity. There is no more room for lies. It’s time for a change.

BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 19 (ANSA). European Union countries reached a political agreement on Monday (19) to impose a natural gas price ceiling of 180 euros per megawatt hour (MWh). The main sources of income for Russia and the minimization of the use of energy as a weapon by the regime of Vladimir Putin.

The agreement was approved by a supermajority at a ministerial meeting of member states in Brussels, Belgium, after months of discussions about the best way to contain the rise in natural gas prices in the bloc caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. .

The value set by the countries is well below the proposal made by the European Commission, the EU’s executive body, in November: 275 EUR/MWh. However, the countries leading the cap campaign were in favor of an even lower limit, around 100 EUR/MWh.

Germany, always wary of price controls, voted in favor of 180 euros, while Austria and the Netherlands, also skeptical of the cap, abstained. Hungary, the most pro-Russian country in the EU, voted against.

The instrument will enter into force on 15 February, but only if natural gas prices on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange exceed 180 euros/MWh for three consecutive days. In addition, the difference compared to a number of global benchmarks should be more than 35 euros.

Italy, the EU’s biggest supporter of the ceiling, has claimed responsibility for the measure. “This is a victory for Italy, which believed and worked for us to reach this agreement,” Environment and Energy Minister Gilberto Picetto tweeted.

“This is a victory for Italian and European citizens who demand energy security,” he added.

Currently, the gas price in Amsterdam is around 110 EUR/MWh, which is already a reflection of the agreement in Brussels – in August the figure even broke the barrier of 340 EUR/MWh.
