Afghan citizens and foreigners wishing to leave Afghanistan “must obtain proper permission,” a joint statement by the United States and 65 other countries said, in which the Taliban warn them to show “responsibility” for the withdrawal.
Earlier, the European Union stressed that the entry of the Taliban into Kabul makes “protection more imperative” against possible reprisals against Afghan civilians hired by foreigners and who should be placed in a safe place.

Russia is among the countries that have received guarantees from the Taliban for the security of diplomatic missions, Kabulov explained.
On the other hand, all members of the Saudi Arabian diplomatic mission have been withdrawn from Kabul, the Riyadh Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
