Marriage companies deny a refund after a man's fiance dies

Not exactly like the picture of kindness.

A wedding photography company refused to return a Colorado man after his fiance died in a tragic car accident – then mocked him online, according to reports.

Citing his rare and heartbreaking situation, Justin Montney, from Colorado Springs, asked the Copper Stallion Media company to return the $ 1,800 deposit after his 22-year-old bride, Alexis Wyatt, was killed on February 4, according to KRDO-TV.

“They said they would expand my services to my next marriage, which is a very insensitive thing to convey to me,” he told the station. “They should be able to [refund it] because they don’t provide any service. “

But the Texas-based photography company rejected his request, citing a “legally binding contract” signed in November.

As word of rejection spread, people left dozens of negative reviews on the company’s social media pages, along with the wedding site TheKnot.com, according to Fox 6 Now.

The photography company responded immediately by creating a website, JustinMontneyWedding.com, to “build our case” against it.

It was said that Montney took the story to the “failed KRDO news station” for a segment in which he “admitted the contract was non-refundable.”

“Life is the great Justin,” the website reads.

The message appeared to be removed from the site Wednesday.

“We answered and expressed our sympathy and explained to him that all our marriage contracts are non-refundable,” Copper Stallion Media also said on its website.

“He kept sending us emails to get a refund and we continued to confirm that the contract was non-refundable. We have finally stopped responding since the issue was debated. “

The company could not be contacted for comment on Wednesday.

Method Media Bermuda will present the documentary FABRIC: Portuguese History in Bermuda on Thursday, December 29 at the Underwater Research Institute of Bermuda.

A spokesperson said: “Method Media is proud to bring Bermuda Fabric: Portugal History to Bermuda for its 5th and 6th showing at the Bermuda Underwater Observatory. In November and December 2019, Cloth: A Portuguese Story in Bermuda had four sold-out screenings. Now that Bermuda has reopened after the pandemic, it’s time to bring the film back for at least two screenings.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.
