Madeleine McCann’s parents said there was “real proof” that she was dead

Madeleine McCann's parents said there was "real proof" that she was dead

The parents of the missing British girl Madeleine McCann were officially told that there was “real proof” that she was dead, according to Tuesday’s report.

German prosecutors investigating an imprisoned rapist who is now a new prime suspect in the 2007 abduction gave heartbreaking warnings to Maddie’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, in a letter, Said the Sun..

“We have written to McCanns to inform them that Madeleine is dead and explained that we cannot say what the evidence is,” German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said on Tuesday, according to British newspapers.

“We have clear evidence that our suspect killed Madeleine,” he told Christian Brückner, who was behind bars for raping an American tourist.

He said, “there is no realistic hope that he is alive,” stressed, “This is a murder case, not a missing person case.”

British police were also informed of the conclusion, but all evidence was not provided, Wolters said.

“I don’t think McCanns has been told about all the details but they know the results,” he said.

McCann’s lawyer in Portugal – where Maddie was abducted from a holiday resort in May 2007 when he was 3 years old – stressed that German investigators must produce evidence that they supported the death claim.

“I sympathize with parents but if we reveal further details to them, it could jeopardize the investigation,” Wolters said, according to the report.

“I know it would be a relief for parents to find out how he died but that would hamper the investigation if we provide too much information.

“We can understand the pain of parents and they want help, but it’s better for them that we have clear and successful conclusions for this case.”

He said “there was no forensic evidence,” only “other evidence that showed him dead.”

“It would be easier for them if I could tell them what we know but I can’t,” he said of parents.

The McCann family spokesman Clarence Mitchell told The Sun: “Kate and Gerry have not commented on any personal correspondence received from the police and they will not comment.”

Madeleine will be 17 years old on May 12 this year.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
