The Kid Rock Bar in Nashville temporarily received its beer permission for violating the city’s coronavirus health orders, a report said.

Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk and Steakhouse was issued a five-day suspension by the Metropolitan Beer Licensing Board after the downtown company was caught serving customers at its bar on Saturday night, Tennessean reports.

Under phase two of the city reopening plan, bars are only allowed to serve customers at tables and booths.

Photos of entertainment spots posted Instagram Last weekend showed a crowd of people who ignored social distance guidelines and flattered the bar.

On Saturday, Dr. Michael Caldwell, director of the Metro Department of Public Health, issued a location quote when he visited and witnessed violations of public health order for himself, according to Tennessean.

Big Honky Tonk and Kid Rock’s Steakhouse is one of four Nashville bars that received a five-day suspension of beer permits.

Steve Smith, co-owner of Big Honky Tonk and Kid Rock Steakhouse, declined orders that prevented bar service.

“The Nashville government is, like, communist. They found us behind the Berlin Wall, “Smith told The Tennessean.

“We met with Mayor Cooper and the doctors a few weeks ago and explained how having bar services is safer than table service. “They did everything they could to get us out of business,” he told the newspaper.
