Dutch police announced on Monday that they had detained the couple at the Amsterdam airport “after being informed that two people had left the hotel where they were quarantined (mandatory) and that they intended to leave the country,” and explained that they handed over to the health authorities.
The young woman signed a document confirming that she understood the protocol to be followed, and “it said that if she had covid-19 less than six months ago, she would have to be in quarantine for three days, and in any case, I have already fulfilled them, ”he pointed out.
He complains that they were “dumped” from the moment they arrived at the hotel, and that no one gave them “even a thermometer” to monitor their temperature, or asked how they were doing or if they needed any information. , according to your version.
When their request for a repeat PCR was not granted, the couple asked a GGD representative at the hotel to conduct an antigen test.
“They gave Andres a bike and told him to go buy [os testes] to the supermarket who could go out because they did not test positive and were free to circulate. It was all very funny, ”said Pimenta.
According to the Portuguese, both tests were negative, so they spoke to a GGD representative and a hotel security guard to explain the situation by showing them the results of both tests.
