How the Yankees want to present a voice

According to Zack Britton, the Yankees were considering channeling crowd noise to the match at the Yankee Stadium, which would be without customers.

“I think it’s a good idea if they will allow steady crowd noise to be pumped in. That will be good for the men, obviously it has become very calm,” Britton said on Thursday night at the Stadium. “I have heard about teams, including our team, who might be exploring putting some kind of crowd throughout the game. I’m not sure how hard it will be and what it looks like, but I think it’s a good idea, and our team will like it and create a kind of atmosphere at the stadium. “

Kyle Higashioka was unsure but certainly wasn’t against it.

“I don’t know. I don’t think I will oppose it,” he said. “We have some light music out there while we play to break the dead silence. It was better than the first day, where we only played in the abyss, only the void of sound. I would not oppose crowd noise. ‘

Manager Aaron Boone has no new information about Masahiro Tanaka (concussion) other than a pitcher that works a bit outdoors for the third day in a row.

Deivi Garcia was a long blow to make the Yankees pitching staff expand when the regular season began on July 23, but what he did on Thursday night was certainly impressive in intrasquadism.

“It’s a good step for him, obviously facing our big boys,” Boone said of the 21-year-old left-handed player – who retired from Mike Tauchman, Andujar and Gary Sanchez (on strike). “Feeling like he left and ran in our summer camp.”

Clint Frazier is DH for the third consecutive intrasquad game. Boone said Frazier was dealing with plantas fasciitis, which made the Yankees take it slow with the outsider. Frazier, who wore a mask throughout his pregame training, fought while wearing one in the second innings when Britton hit him.

Jonathan Loaisiga’s arrival in spring 2.0 training was postponed until Sunday because there were no flights between Nicaragua and New York, but he was not behind other Yankees throwers.

Pitching in the Nicaraguan league right hander worked 8 ¹ / ₃ innings for three matches before leaving.

Because he has worked as a starter (eight games) and relievers (16) in his short major league career, the 25-year-old left-handed player was asked which role he liked.

“I like being a reliever. I like the opportunity it presents, “Loaisiga said.” But nothing was decided. “

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
