Hot Property: Former Duck Andrew Cogliano sells a house on Newport Beach

It’s been over a year since Duck traded Andrew Cogliano to the Dallas Stars, and hockey players finally sold their old place in Newport Beach. Contemporary excavations on the Balboa Peninsula are only traded by hand for $ 2.225 million, records show.

Cogliano initially registered the property last May and cut prices six times before finding a buyer. He managed to make a profit, however, selling it for $ 90,000 more than he paid back in 2014.

He did a lot of renovation while there, exchanging carpets for hardwood floors and replacing brown walls with lighter color palettes. Outside, he deflected a red-tinged wooden block with a lighter yellow color.

Stone accents line the exterior of the three-story house and proceed to the living room, covering the walls in the living room and backsplash in the kitchen. Through a glass wall full of pockets, the main floor opens to a covered patio with a fireplace.

At 2,362 square feet there are three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, including the main bedroom with a picture window. A balcony hangs on the other side, and at the top, another bedroom expands to the roof deck.

Cogliano, 32, has spent 12 seasons at NHL. The 830 consecutive matches he played, which ended in 2018, are the fourth highest in league history.

Jon-Paul Bell from Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty handles both ends of the deal.
