The French government will introduce into a bill that will regulate this phase of the pandemic a commitment to 10 days of isolation for positive cases, including a health pass from August in restaurants and cinemas.

Also compulsory vaccination for certain occupational categories, such as doctors, nurses, will remain in the diploma, as well as for all other people who work in hospitals, nursing homes or clinics, for example, administrative staff.

The project also provides for the possibility of closing all establishments that do not comply with health insurance rules confirming full vaccination or a negative test result.

At the same time, demonstrations took place in several cities in France against the introduction of this pass, in which it was mentioned that the measure was a “dictatorship”.

The number of cases in France has risen again in recent days, with 8,875 new cases to be confirmed as of Tuesday. The average number of cases has exceeded 5,000, while in recent weeks it has been below 2,000. In the past 24 hours, six people have died from the virus in France.

Currently, 7,047 people are admitted to French hospitals due to covid-19, and 931 of these patients are admitted to intensive care units.

According to the latest report from Agence France-Presse, the covid-19 pandemic has caused at least 4,053,041 deaths worldwide out of more than 187.7 million cases of the novel coronavirus.
