Fabio Wibmer doesn't let lockdown stop his cycling stunts
For Fabio Wibmer However, once he finished washing his clothes, the white item became the perfect barrier for the next trick.

The Austrian cycling sensation, whose videos have garnered a lot of followers on Instagram and YouTube, has been pedaling its bikes during locking.

While he previously used fences and walls in cities around the world for his actions, the 24-year-old player made use of what he got at home for his videos.

His “Home Office” video, which is watched more than 1.6 million times a day and now has more than seven million views, involves Wibmer performing tricks throughout his home using household equipment and sports equipment as props.

For Wibmer and his housemates, the ability to focus on producing this video and “thinking outside the box” has helped him spend time while he was stuck at home for coronavirus pandemic.
“I was walking through the house and through the garage. And then, for example, I saw my bike as standing. And then I thought it could be really cool to jump over,” Wibmer said. CNN Sport.

“We really enjoyed it because we had a rhythm, a kind of mission to do something and we found our passion at that time.

“I think the whole team is very happy to be in a situation like that where we can still do something at home rather than just sitting at home and watching Netflix or whatever.”

Wibmer balances outside the window of his house.

Adapt to the environment

Wibmer began riding when he was six years old and had traveled around the world filming action from the streets of Paris and Hamburg to Tenerife and Vancouver.

Given that global lifestyle, being told that he must live in Austria is “very crazy” for Wibmer.

“I was there with my roommate and then we just thought, ‘OK, let’s use it all and try to be creative and do something.’ So I had to carry a bicycle playing from the streets and from the mountains to my home. ”

For Wibmer, bicycles aren't just for riding ...

“For someone like me, I’m used to playing outside with my bicycle and riding my bicycle somewhere else, but not at home. I didn’t know what to do at first because normally I don’t ride at home.”

Even for someone experienced like Wibmer, some of the actions featured in the video require a lot of effort to perfect.

Wibmer said that he tried a basketball trick shot, in which he used the rear wheel of his bicycle to hit the ball into the ring, about “600 times.”

“I think of the 600 trials we have carried out, maybe 10 such trials are headed in that direction, but they are clearly not in the basket.

“I mean, we’re not really stressed, so it’s actually cooler. It takes about four or five weeks in total to get it all.”

Wibmer jumped from the roof of his house to the tree.

‘Inspire’

Wibmer’s actions have helped him become one of the most famous racers on the biking arena, with his video sweeping over 700 million views. His “Wibmer’s Law” the video has been watched more than 83 million times.

The increase in popularity is also accompanied by a growing awareness of its ability to inspire people in the cycling community.

Turn Wibmer upside down from his house.

“By driving me and my desire to ride, I can inspire lots of people and lots of kids, which is very cool,” Wibmer explained.

“Cycling nation can still reach so many people and inspire so many people. It’s really cool and really motivates me and makes me excited for every video.”

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
