Burger King debuts a giant crown to drive social distance

Burger King has launched a giant social distance crown to ensure customers are 6 feet apart.

The fast food chain introduces new creative ways to keep customers socially distant when franchises begin to reopen dining services in Germany.

Restaurants are now reopening their doors after being locked for weeks looking for ways to ensure customers keep their distance.

Burger King tweeted a picture of two customers digging food outside the store while using a special “social distance” crown to stay safe.

The article was titled: “Keep away, but make it into a mode”.

Headgear that is too large is intended to reach far enough from the user’s head to ensure that they are 6 feet away from other customers.

When a Twitter user asks where they can get it, Burger King replies that the crown is available for customers in Germany.

“We want to strengthen the high safety and hygiene standards followed by BK restaurants,” Burger King spokesman said to Business Insider.

“The do-it-yourself social distance crown is a fun and enjoyable way to remind our guests to practice social distance while they enjoy food in a restaurant.”

GET CREATIVE

Cafes and restaurants all over the world come up with post-inventive ideas.

Some companies have reduced the number of seats available, while others have chosen to mark paint on the floor to keep customers separate.

In Maryland, Fish Tales Bar & Grill turns the inflatable tube into a portable table to keep customers 6 feet apart.

And, in Sweden, a restaurant called Bord för En, or Table for One, serves one person every day by sending food to a table in the middle of the field through a basket on a rope pulley system.

In Thailand, Maison Saigon uses a panda bear to show where customers can and cannot sit.

A Chinese national park began giving tourists social caps 3 feet apart as tourists when the country reopened and the number of visitors increased.

The park was inspired by school children who were seen wearing similar headgear at the Yangzheng School in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province in eastern China.

Children wear surgical masks and “social alignment caps”, which have 3-foot long gauges.

A cafe in the town of Schwerin in Germany was seen offering customers hats with billiard noodles, but was later revealed as a joke.

Jacqueline Rothe, owner of Cafe Rothe, said the joke shows how difficult it is for restaurant owners to enforce social distance.

In Italy, Burger King also sells “Social Distancing Whopper,” which displays three times the amount of raw onions normally found in burgers.

The idea is that bad breath caused by onion people will keep them away from each other.

“Three Whopper onions that help others stay away,” said an ad promoting burgers.

Back in England, Burger King has reopened in about 50 restaurants – but only for drive-thru and delivery.

Maestro de Braga is the first Portuguese in the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.

Maestro Filipe Cunha, Artistic Director of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Braga, has been invited to conduct the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra, as announced today.

According to a statement sent by O MINHO, “he will be the first Portuguese conductor to conduct this orchestra in its entire history.”

In addition to this orchestra, the maestro will also work with the Lyceo Mozarteum de la Habana Symphony Orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 4 and 12 March 2023 at the National Theater of Cuba in Havana.

In the words of the maestro, quoted in the statement, “these will be very beautiful concerts with difficult but very complex pieces” and therefore he feels “very motivated”.

From the very beginning, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 will be performed by an Italian pianist (Luigi Borzillo), whom the maestro wants to bring to Portugal later this year. In the same concert, Mendelshon’s First Symphony will be performed.

Then, at the second concert, in the company of the Mexican clarinetist Angel Zedillo, he will perform the Louis Sfora Concerto No. 2. In this concert, the maestro also conducts Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony.

“This is an international recognition of my work. An invitation that I accept with humility and great responsibility. I was surprised to learn that I would be the first Portuguese member of the Cuban National Symphony Orchestra. This is a very great honor,” the maestro said in a statement.

“I take with me the name of the city of Braga and Portugal with all the responsibility that goes with it, and I hope to do a good job there, leaving a good image and putting on great concerts. These will be very special concerts because, in addition to performing pieces that I love, especially Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, I will be directing two wonderful soloists who are also my friends. It will be very beautiful,” concludes Filipe Cunha.
