Beats by Dre announced on Monday that NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace signed a ratification agreement with the company.

“We will not announce this until the end of this week, but hatred cannot win the day,” Beats by Dre, which was acquired by Apple in 2014, write on Twitter.

“No one should be asked to apologize for defending what is right – we are proud to welcome @bubbawallace to the Beats by Dr. Dre’s family.”

The announcement came after President Trump earlier Monday suggested Wallace, NASCAR’s only black racer, apologize for saying he was a victim of racial crime.

Last month, one of the Wallace crew members found a clear trap in his workshop at Talladega Superspeedway, Alabama.

The findings prompted an investigation by the FBI, which determined Wallace was not a victim of racial crime and that the rope, which was made like a rope, had been at the stall since at least October 2019.

In a Monday morning tweet, Trump wrote: “Does @BubbaWallace apologize to all the great NASCAR drivers & officials who come to help him, stand by his side, & are willing to sacrifice everything for him, only to find out that the whole thing is just HOAX? The Flag’s decision has led to the lowest ranking EVER! “

Wallace then responded to the president’s statement by tweeting his own statement, denouncing “Hate from POTUS.”

Speaking to his younger generation of followers, Wallace wrote, “What the haters do is raise your voice and platform to a higher level.”

He called on people to “always deal with the hatred thrown at you with LOVE!”

“Even when it HATES from POTUS. Love wins,” Wallace writes.
