Fans of La Casa de Papel can’t wait for the latest season of Netflix to come out. After the success in Spain, one of the actresses of the production has already conceived a new project. This is the series “Intimidad”, in which Itziar Itugno will come to Lisbon as one of the main characters.

Intimidad (Intimacy in Portuguese) is a new Spanish series on Netflix, created by Veronica Fernandez and Laura Sarmiento. Jorge Torregrossa, Ben Gutteridge, Martha Font and Koldo Amandos are directors.

The production still has no release date on Netflix, and all indications are that Itziar Itugno fans will still have to wait a significant amount of time to see the actress’s new performance. After all, Netflix just created an official Intimidad page on their platform.

Intimidad Story & Cast – Cast La Casa de Papel

Netflix has already started filming Intimidad, the newest Spanish TV series on the platform.

The play follows an essentially female story based on the cast of major TV stars.

Intimidad follows the story of a politician who lives in real hell due to the leak of an intimate video to the press, which caused a social and sexual scandal.

“Her life changes in an instant. One click on the sound of the sent message. Your privacy is no longer private and becomes public in milliseconds. Someone presses a button, and suddenly this uncontrollable hurricane begins, “- the creator of the series, Veronica Fernandez, commented on the plot of the series.

According to the showrunner, Intimidad intends to turn to strong social concepts by analyzing the difference in the treatment of men and women.

“The feeling of powerlessness generated by this new age is the feeling that the boundaries of intimacy and privacy are invisible,” says Fernandez.

Laura Sarmiento, another Intimidade creator responsible for TV shows like Matadero and La Zona, points to other important aspects of Netflix’s new production.

“Like us, the characters on the show live in a world where the boundaries between public and private are fluid, fickle and strange. The show also shows the devastating consequences of exposing the privacy of others, ”comments the showrunner.

The cast of Intimidad is led by Itziar Itugno and in Lisbon (Raquel) by La Casa de Papel. The actress is also known for her performance in the Pulsaciones.

Intimidad also includes Patricia Lopez Arnais (Feria), Emma Suarez (criminal), Veronica Echegi (Explota Explota), Ana Wagener (O Inocente) and Yune Nogeiras (Akelarre).

The Spanish drama series Intimidad is not scheduled to debut on Netflix yet. The last season of La Casa de Papel arrives in August.
