YouTube Launches Short Film Campaign With The Weeknd And BTS

This Tuesday (10) Youtube released a video on their official channel about a new short film ad campaign. In an effort to increase the competition for short videos from TikTok, the Google platform offers the opportunity to use famous songs from artists such as The Weeknd, Camilla Cabello and BTS in the soundtrack of productions.

According to the portal 9to5Google, ads will appear on YouTube for mobile phones, browsers and even TVs. In addition, the video will accompany short trailers of songs from other artists such as Doja Cat. TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter users should also witness these social media advertisements.

“In one of our biggest marketing campaigns, we rely on the ‘shorter side of YouTube’ to show how easy and fun it is to shoot short films. Anyone can use music from the best contemporary artists, including other exclusive YouTube videos, ”said Jody Ropert, vice president of marketing for the company.

How to create a short film with music

To use your favorite song in a short, open the artist’s video in the YouTube mobile app and check for the Create button. Just select a shortcut and then the service will open video creation with an embedded track.
