Microsoft has focused on integrating new systems into Windows 11. Since Linux has already existed since the previous version, it is now Android’s turn to offer its applications.

In the meantime, this unique moment has come, opening this novelty to some users. Now that it’s available, some new features have started to appear. The biggest one is that they have already managed to launch the Google Play Android store on Windows 11.

Microsoft intends to maintain tight control over its implementation of Android in Windows 11. It wants the system not to be a gateway to new problems in your system, and therefore tries to restrict it.

To prove it, he restricted access to one app store that isn't even one of the most famous. The choice fell on the Amazon store, which will go directly and transparently into your new system, ready to use.

Of course, once it was made public, the race started getting more out of this Windows 11 subsystem. They wanted to explore and understand how they could get even more out of Android, which Microsoft included in its new system.

One of the first to do this, opened the door to what they wanted, even before the WSA was released. The Google store was almost a prerequisite for a presence, although Microsoft didn't want to include it. This has now been achieved and the Google Play Store for Android can now run on Windows 11.

At the moment, as seen in the video above, this is not an easy and accessible process for everyone. Of course, it will be improved and soon installing the Android Google Play Store on Windows 11 will be as easy as clicking on an executable or executing some commands on the system.

Anyone who wants to test this new feature can subscribe to instructions are provided on GitHub, is not yet available to everyone. This is a major change that will definitely open up access to many more applications.
