Windows 11 will not be able to install in China, and the government is to blame

Released and already installed, Windows 11 has established itself as a mature system ready for everyone to use. This revolution Microsoft wants to create a new interface and complete image for the system and its applications.

The biggest problems in Windows 11 are caused by Microsoft itself and its security requirements. If its impact is limited to a large number of cars, in China the problem is global in nature and the Chinese government and the restrictions imposed are to blame.

Windows 11 limitations imposed by Microsoft

The biggest problem and limitation most commonly seen in Windows 11 is even the mandatory TPM 2.0. This is one of two security measures that Microsoft has taken from the beginning, and one of the most important for this system.

There are ways to work around this limitation and install Windows 11. They may not work in all scenarios, and they are not completely reliable or secure. Microsoft itself has already disclosed the method, but warned of possible related problems.

TPM in China does not exist due to the fault of the government

This scenario was the biggest problem for users and now has an even bigger impact. The case occurs in China where TPM was prohibited for over 20 years by the country's own government as a safeguard measure for local users.

To offset this ban, the Chinese government ultimately created an alternative that it called TCM (Trusted Cryptography Module). This is supposed to have higher security standards, but was ultimately ignored by Microsoft when defining the Windows 11 specifications.

The problem can be solved soon

Due to this seemingly deliberate gap, all PCs located in China are unable to update to the new Windows. They can do it, but they won't have upgrades like the rest of the planet.

Since Windows is the most used operating system in China, it is very likely that a messy solution will come along very soon. Microsoft already started to open some loopholes in the TMP 2.0 commitment, and this is probably where you'll find a place again to open Windows 11 to users.
