WH’s advisor Peter Navarro called Obama “Biden’s press secretary”

Key White House trade advisers criticized former President Barack Obama for criticizing the Trump administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Well, I’m glad Mr. Obama has a new job as Joe Biden’s press secretary,” Peter Navarro said on Sunday. ABC News ’ “This week.”

“I noted for the record that, in his speech I read, there was no mention of manufacturing, no mention of China. “As far as I know, his government is an incapacity, where we see millions of manufacturing jobs going to China,” Navarro added.

Obama attacked President Trump in two online opening remarks on Saturday.

“More than anything, this pandemic has completely, finally knocked down the curtain on the idea that so many responsible people know what they are doing,” the former president said. “Many of them don’t even pretend to be responsible.”

Navarro also set his sights on Joe Biden, a former vice president and presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, criticizing him for being weak towards China.

Asked about the op-ed Biden wrote in USA Today in January that warned Trump about trusting Chinese President Xi Jinping during the coronavirus pandemic, he replied: “Well, Joe Biden got 40 years of smoking to China, including eight years as vice president.”

Navarro said Americans will decide who is stronger in the economy when they decide who they want at the White House this November.

“So, we will have Joe Biden, China’s old friend, President Donald J. Trump, the only president in modern history who will face China until November. And what this is, it’s not about a pandemic, it’s about work,” he said.
