What’s up? Xiaomi suspends production of Redmi Note 10 (but there are alternatives)

Xiaomi cut the first tape of its Redmi Note 10 in March. From LTE to 5G, the family has grown large and successful in sales, with an opportunity for anyone looking for a great deal. However, something could slow down the production of Redmi Note 10 as the brand is suspending its production and recommends buying other devices.

Redmi Note 10 production suspended

2021 will prove to be a terrible year for all areas of technology due to a shortage of chips. We have seen anomalous phenomena such as used cars, which are more expensive than new ones in the US, leave the stand, and brands that force buyers to sign contracts not to sell the car immediately after buying it. From a drought in Taiwan, when TSMC needed massive amounts of water to make semiconductors, to COVID outbreaks that forced factories to close, all indications are that 2022 will not bring relief to tech companies just yet.

It was this shortage of chips that led to the suspension of production of the Redmi Note 10, which will soon begin to become scarce in several markets.

End or return in the future?

As in the Sebastianist legend, perhaps the Redmi Note 10 will return on a foggy morning, but now we cannot move forward with that certainty. In Indonesia, the brand has effectively announced the end of the production of devices intended for this market.

It is unclear how long Redmi Note 10 will remain available in markets like Europe, so if you want to take advantage of a very interesting smartphone, go to Mistorewhere the 128 GB version is available with a 20 € discount and the 64 GB version is not available. Obviously, a very interesting alternative is Redmi Note 10S with a discount of 60 €
