This Friday, the 16th, TVI released a new clarification regarding the dispute with Fernando Rocha regarding the invitation that the channel presented to the comedian to join the cast of the soap opera Festa é Festa.
“TVI is very grateful to Fernando Rocha both personally and professionally. In no way did TVI intend to undermine the comedian’s prestige or influence his image.”but
Channel stressed “conducts his negotiations with great discretion and respects confidentiality” and mentioned that “various interpretations of the points contained in the proposal submitted by Fernando Rocha at the beginning of 2021 have caused misunderstandings which we regret”.
“The above proposal contained two approaches that gave inconsistent interpretations: one called for the performance of Fernando Rocha as an actor/comedian, and the other related to the cost of creating a comedy program that had to be developed within 3 years. TVI is clear that neither side intended to damage the good name of the other side. The honesty and seriousness of Fernando Rocha remain intact.”read more.
