Passing the allied party conventions for the re-election of Governor Fatima Bezerra (PT) this Saturday (23), former mayor of Natal Carlos Eduardo Alves (PDT), the name of the government in the Senate, stressed that an alliance with other parties, including the MDB, would help the PT govern , including for the purpose of compiling the majority of federal and state benches.

“We created this alliance to participate in elections and ensure the succession of the Fatima government, in addition to electing the majority of state and federal benches. In this way, we will strengthen this political group to help Fatima improve Rio Grande do Norte.” , he said.

This election marks another political meeting between Carlos and Fatima, who also ran on opposite platforms. “We had several meetings and political and administrative unions. We voted for Lulu three times and Dilma twice. I already voted for Fatima as mayor, and she voted for me as mayor. Today we have a new meeting because at the national level we have also united in opposition to the federal government,” he said.

The PDT is also holding its meeting this Saturday, nominating nine candidates for the Federal House and 16 for the Legislative Assembly, in addition to Carlos Eduardo as a candidate for the Senate. “PDT is very well represented in the competition list that will help Fatima run the country,” said the senatorial candidate.

After the notary meeting, pedestrians head to the Desembargador Floriano Cavalcanti (Floca) Public School in southern Natal, where a large meeting is held that will formally approve Fatima Bezerra’s re-election candidate for governor.
