The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 0.68% at 35,061.55 points, which was a record closing. The index has already reached this level, but only in daily values. Today it also reached its highest level for the entire session – 35,095.33 points.

Standard & Poor’s 500 rose 1.01% to 4,411.79 points, also a record high for the closing price. During the day, he set a new all-time high of 4,415.18 points.

In turn, the technological Nasdaq Composite rose by 1.04% to 14,836.99 points – also a record for the close of the session. In intraday trading, it reached its highest level of 14,846.06 points.

As such, Wall Street stocks hit a high and all-time high in a week that kicked off violently as the Dow Jones dropped 900 points in its worst session since October. This is all due to concerns about the “delta” option, which could lead to a slowdown in global economic growth.

However, economic data from the US and the belief that the economy will eventually resume, even with a resurgence of covid, ultimately inspired investors and added a positive tone.

In addition, quarterly results were above expectations for the quoted peso, which also contributed to a more optimistic sentiment.
