See what the postman is dragging.

An Atlanta family was surprised to find a voter registration form arriving at the post – for a pet cat that died 12 years ago.

The application that appeared on Wednesday at the home of Ron and Carol Tims has been printed under the name “Team Cody,” according to a photo posted online by Fox5 Atlanta.

“How could this happen? “It’s not reality, he’s a cat and he’s been dead for a long time,” Carol told the station.

Carol described the deceased cat – whose ashes were kept in a green container – as “big cats, inside and outside, loving their family, loving their environment.”

“He was 18 and a half when he died,” he said.

The suspicious mailer also made the family wonder if other creatures accepted applications to vote ahead of the November elections contested between President Trump and the alleged Democratic challenger Joe Biden.

“There is a big push but if they try to register the cat, I’m not sure who else they are trying to register,” Carol said.

“I’m not sure if they tried to register dogs, mice, snakes.”

The Secretary of the Georgia State Office issued a statement that denied responsibility for the registration effort and blamed political forces located outside the Peach State.

“Third party groups across the country are targeting Georgia to help enroll eligible people,” the statement said.

“This group makes you wonder what activists are actually doing outside this city. Make no mistake, this office is dedicated to investigating all types of fraud. “

Officials also said that if alive, Cody – what Carol said was “Democat” – would never be allowed to vote, because he never issued a license or state ID card, Fox5 said.
