Vitoria de Guimarães defeats the Famalicans and improves the consistency in Portuguese

Vitoria de Guimarães extends successful streak Portuguese Championship defeating Famalicao this Monday. In the 11th round of the competition at the Afonso Henriques stadium, the hosts won 3:2, scoring goals from Michael Johnston and Nelson da Lus (2). Alex Milan scored twice for the visitors.

Famalicao have won just three times so far and after losing this Monday they remain in 14th position in the table with ten points, one point more than Gilles Vicente who opens the relegation zone. The team will return to the pitch next Sunday to face Maritimo at 15:00 at the Barreiros Stadium.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 21st minute of the game. Striker Michael Johnston got into the box, cleared the game and ended the game in the right corner.
