Model Bridget Malcolm, who was one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, took to social media to criticize the brand. The Australian showed off a bra she wore at a fashion show in Paris in 2016 and wore it again to showcase the changes in her body, which she believes is only now healthy.
In a video posted on TikTok, 29-year-old Bridget Malcolm lamented the demands made by the directors of the brand at the time regarding her fitness, namely Edward Razek, who criticized her body during her time at Victoria’s Secret.
“I found my bra from the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” the model says as she demonstrates it. “This is a size 30A, today I am 34B, which is great for me,” he added.
“I was rejected by Ed Razek on the 2017 show, he said my body was ‘not good enough.’ I was wearing a 30B at the time, look how big it is to me. The sadness in my eyes at the 2016 concert breaks my heart, ”he added.
The model ultimately criticizes the brand’s latest initiative, which decided to get rid of the “angels” for more representativeness. According to the brand, the products will be discussed by seven “culturally significant” women. Among them are actress and activist Priyanka Chopra and soccer player Megan Rapino.
“Victoria’s Secret, your alliance for more engagement is a joke,” said the model.
