Verstappen Could Become Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Champion: Dutchman’s Party Scenarios – Formula 1

Lewis Hamilton’s victory at the Qatar Grand Prix led to a frantic fight for the Formula 1 world title, but it could have been decided in favor of Max Verstappen in Saudi Arabia on the first weekend of December. At 24, the Dutch driver Red Bull is trying to become a champion for the first time and is facing the 21st and penultimate race on the calendar with an 8-point lead over his rival Mercedes. But reigning champion Hamilton aims to become the most titled driver in Formula 1 history – currently holding the same 7 titles as Germany’s Michael Schumacher.

After Qatar, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be one of the absolute novelties of this Formula 1 World Championship. Max Verstappen and Red Bull may even throw a party on the Jeddah city circuit, but this will only be possible if one of the following outcomes occurs. :

– Verstappen wins, gets the best lap, and Hamilton does not finish higher than 6th;

– Verstappen wins, and Hamilton is no better than 7th;

– Verstappen takes 2nd place, shows the fastest lap, and Hamilton finishes below 9th;

– Verstappen comes in second, and Hamilton does not score (from the top ten).

It should be noted that after Saudi Arabia, the 2021 championship will conclude at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from December 10 to 12.
