USA. A woman gets billions by mistake (and can’t get them back)
UA bank error made Julia Yonkowski, a native of the US state of Florida, the 615th richest person in the country. The woman who thought she had only $ 20 in her account was surprised when she found a billion dollars there. In an effort to return money that does not belong to her, Julia is unable to contact the bank.
The American realized what was happening last Saturday when she went to the ATM to get a statement of bank balances. Then the unthinkable happened: there he found $ 999,985,855.94.
The woman was “frightened” of what had happened and began with all her might to try to contact the Chase bank, where she has an account. Only no one answered the calls.
“I was terrified. I know most people will think I won the lottery, but I was terrified, ”she told the WFLA. “This is not my money,” he repeated.
On weekends, only the bank’s answering machine “spoke” to her, as a result of which the American left a (huge) amount in the account. It is not yet known what led to the error.
