Tribute to Mario Covas
Mario Covas Public Hospital, which is completing 21 years of public health service delivery in the Greater ABC region this month, was honored at a commemorative meeting of the Santo André City Council the day before yesterday. The ceremony was hosted by Councilor Edson Sardano. Located in the Paraiso area of the city, this facility is now the largest public hospital in the region and a benchmark for medium to advanced care. More than 1,900 direct employees serve the approximately 7,000 people who pass through the facility every day, including patients, companions and staff.
