Ubisoft has published a trailer and release date for the game

New pirate game UbisoftSkull and Bones finally got a release date and trailer cinematography and gameplay.

Skull and bones will come for prefix 5, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and Ubisoft+ on PC November 8. Ubisoft will already be releasing the game with crossplay and shared progress across platforms.

The game was announced in 2017 and is based on the naval battle from Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. The game has suffered several delays since its announcement. To give you an idea, the original release window was for 2018.

Read the game’s official synopsis: “Enter the dangerous paradise of Skull and Bones, inspired by the Indian Ocean during the Golden Age of Piracy, as you overcome adversity and rise from outcast to infamous pirate. Create a variety of unique ships to survive, thrive and rule in an exciting world that brings new challenges and features every season.”

In Skull and Bones, players take control of pirate ships where they can enter into contracts, accumulate resources and attack other merchant ships in search of riches while sailing the seas. The choice of players will affect the journey, and the growth of the rating will open up the possibility of customizing the ship.

Set in the Golden Age of Piracy, the game features PvP modes where you can team up with up to two other players to fight in online multiplayer.

Skull and Bones will release across all platforms on November 8th.
