Twitter started allowing blue stamped account verification for all users a few months ago, along with other changes such as visual makeup e Removing fleetsbut the process was paused again. This is due to the fact that the company had problems with the procedure, in particular with the identification of fake profiles.

social network already assumed you gave a blue seal to bots and performed account suspension, but apparently still needs to strengthen the verification in order to return to active mode. Because of this, the process will be suspended until the application and verification mechanisms are improved.

Regardless, Twitter said it will continue to review some of its existing apps. So if you’ve recently shipped yours, your blue stamp may be delivered to you.

However, the social network has not yet clarified how the applications and changes in the verification process will change. In addition, no return date for submitted materials has been specified. A company spokesman said only that the procedure would be suspended “for several weeks.”

Some of Twitter’s problems with the verification seal stem from the fact that the blue character is viewed by users as supportive. However, Twitter claims the goal is to show that the verified account is “genuine, wonderful and active.”
