Chairman of the Legislative Assembly and elected federal deputy, Heriberto Medeiros (PSB), nearby Heriberto Filho (PSB), elected state deputy, from Heriberto RafaelCouncilor and 1st Secretary of the House of Recife and Mariana Medeirosmayor Kumaru, announced support in the second round of the candidacy Marilia Arraes (SD) to the state government. The decision was announced via social media following a meeting between the group and the candidate earlier in the day this Monday (October 10).

In the publication, Heriberto highlighted the commitment made to the candidate by repeating a speech made during the campaign. “We continue with Marilia, preaching hope with a government that cares for the poorest, that promotes civic and social development,” said the elected federal deputy. “That’s why we signed a commitment with Lula’s Pernambuco team by voting for Marilia Arraes so we can build better days for all of Pernambuco,” he added.

Elected by almost 100,000 votes, Heriberto Medeiros strengthened his position as the representative of the communities of Pernambuco, also electing Heriberto Filho, who received almost 80,000 votes, becoming the sixth most voted deputy of the state in Pernambuco and strengthening the group’s weight on the local political scene and in the country.
