Paulo Azevedo returned to the stage with the play “Caligula is Dead. Eu não ‘at the D. Maria II National Theater from June 25 to July 4. This was announced on Thursday morning by an actor who attended TVI’s Dois à 10 program, where he spoke with Claudio Ramos and Maria Botelho Moniz.

Paulo recalled his journey into the world of entertainment, and also shared some details about his personal life, always emphasizing the fact that despite the daily struggle, he was a winner in both areas: professional and personal.

The actor was born without legs and arms – a physical handicap that never stopped him from pursuing his dream and becoming a father for the first time six years ago.

“I was very afraid to become a father. I was afraid to fall on my knees with them, ”admits Paulo, who is now the father of Gustavo, six, and Matilda, four.

As for the appearance of outsiders, Paulo explains that he has always handled curiosity well and that it is he who tries to explain to people that everything in his life happens naturally.

“This stigma still exists … I am often asked this question: is it okay to have sex? Yes, I have no legs … everything else is fine, ”he says.
