These are 3 big changes to Instagram by 2022.

The news came as a surprise to Instagram fans this December. The social network announced that from 2022 it will again provide users with the ability to view the mural in chronological order.

For the first users selected to test out the three big Instagram changes for 2022, the wait is over. In a statement on Twitter, Instagram leader Adam Mosseri explains the three different modes you’ll have on Instagram starting this year.

“Home” mode

This is the Instagram experience you know today. Here, the social network organizes content based on the interest you might have in each post. This way, you will be able to first see what Instagram considers important to you from the accounts you follow or wish to follow.

Favorite mode

In this mode, you will be able to compile a list of accounts that

You don’t want to miss a beat. Whether it’s your best friends or the influencers you want to follow, this segment will pull everything together according to your choice.

Follow mode

This is a mode that restores the original Instagram experience. This is a chronological list of messages only from the accounts you follow. If you want to see the latest of the accounts that interest you the most, this is the way to go.

Testing of these modes has already begun and will continue over the next several weeks. Adam Mosseri says the news should be available to all users by mid-2022.
