The widower of Maria João Abreu talks about the hard days without the love of his life

JOao Soares ended the week by posting a new text on his Instagram page in which he opens his heart to talk about the days after the death of Maria Joao Abreu, with whom he has been married since 2012.

“To live without Juan … To live without Juan means to survive. It means half living. The smaller half, because half of João was more than half. A mathematical contradiction, I know, but in life there are such things … Things that are not explained. Things that are felt, ”he began by writing.

“Living without Juan is not going from the plural to the singular, no … It means going from one to a part of it. Because we were one. Essence, soul, lifestyle. One life. Maria João Abreu died at the age of 57, almost two weeks after hospitalization due to a ruptured aneurysm. The actress was behind the scenes on the SIC soap opera Serra when she became ill and was rushed to the García de Horta hospital in Almada, where she died.

She left her husband João Soares and two children, Miguel and Ricardo, who were born from a 23-year marriage to actor Jose Raposo.
