If you have until this Monday to fill your tank, you will see that you have made the right decision: this is because starting this week, the price of fuel will “fall”. “The evolution of the euro quotes indicates a price devaluation of 7 cents per liter of gasoline 95, while a liter of diesel fuel should retreat by 9.5 cents,” a source at one of the leading national oil companies told Multinews.

Prices at gas stations next to hypermarkets will follow the market trend: “a sharp fall of 0.0585 euros for gasoline, the trend was repeated for diesel with the same sharp fall of 0.0816 euros,” another source said.

So, starting today, filling a tank with 60 liters of gasoline will cost 4.2 euros cheaper. The bill for refueling a diesel tank will cost 5.7 euros cheaper.

In the last few weeks, there has been a decline in fuel prices, while gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine are already being sold at pre-war prices.

Despite last week’s government decision to cut ISP rebates, which offset the decline in recent weeks, fuel prices are resuming from this Monday.

Please note: 95 petrol in the last two months has reached 1889 euros per liter, which is 1585 euros this week, which is equivalent to the fact that topping up a tank of 60 liters was 18.24 euros cheaper. On the other hand, diesel fell more sharply over the same period, with nine weeks in a row dropping from €1.959 per liter to €1.513 in the same period, bringing the bill for a 60-litre tank down by €26.76. Euro.

Data from the Directorate General of Energy and Geology (DGEG) shows that the average price of a liter of diesel fuel in Portugal is currently 1655 euros per liter, while the price of 95 gasoline is 1642 euros. The latest fuel bulletin from the European Commission indicates that Portugal ranks 13th in terms of the cost of gasoline 95 of the 27 countries of the European Union. Diesel is in 5th position in the European ranking.

According to European data, the prices for diesel fuel and gasoline 95 in Portugal are lower than the European average, set at 1782 and 1698 euros respectively.
