Since 2016, the demand for IPA and, as a result, their popularity has not ceased to grow. It’s not just a category, it’s the fastest growing beer style, and Lagunitas is the world’s number one selling IPA. Perhaps for this reason, and some time after its inception, in the mid-19th century, during the British occupation of India, this style of craft beer continues to stand out to the point that it is celebrated around the world as part of International IPA Day. , which is celebrated on 5 August this year.

To mark the date in Portugal, Lagunitas launched a refreshing campaign of offering one IPA by purchasing another at 79 consumer-selected points of sale from north to south of the country.
Lagunitas IPA is an amber, more bitter beer with an intense fresh hop aroma and much more persistence. It also has a caramel malt flavor that makes it richer and gives it more body while balancing the bitterness. Its alcohol content is 6.2% and should ideally be consumed between 4 and 7 ºC.
