Maybe not October, but the Yankees legend, Reggie Jackson still makes a strong statement.

Jackson in a social media post Saturday describe his feelings after taking part in the Monterey, California protest this week in response to the death of George Floyd. This is a post that was not specified:

“Our protest feels different this time.

“I could see it in a rainbow of skin color in a crowd a few days ago in my city on the Monterey Protest Walk.

“That pumped me inside. Makes me feel that other people can feel what my heart needs.

“I AM a teenager in the 60s. I once avoided it!

“Eventually more people understood what I felt during the past 60 years. And they are with me. Makes me smile, gives me hope.
