Leaders Ku, a new Indian social network beloved by Brazilians, has promised that the platform will have a Portuguese version in the next 24 hours. “Soon you will be able to use Koo in Portuguese and find millions of Portuguese speakers,” posted today (18) on the site’s official Twitter account.

The funny thing about this story is that Koo appeared precisely as a possible replacement for Twitter itself. This morning, many began to speculate that Elon Musk’s new company will come to an end, as hundreds of employees quit and the brand’s offices temporarily closed.

After the “apocalypse” of the bluebird social network, which even gave rise to #RIPTWITTER, the Brazilians have found a possible replacement in Ku. And realizing the massive arrival of new Portuguese-speaking users, the Indians decided to capitalize on this movement.

Interaction with Brazilians

Around 2:00 pm (Brazil time) this Friday, Koo’s official Twitter profile began sending out posts directed at Brazilians. The interaction continued with the social network asking if users in Brazil wanted Koo to change its name, and even introduced the founders.

And, of course, Indian executives learned what the Portuguese pronunciation of their enterprise means. 🇧🇷Ku is the sound of this beautiful yellow bird. It’s not what you think,” they joked.

They even promised later that they would launch a timeline on Koo, as it is one of the preferred formats for Brazilians using social media.
