The Silent Hill remake rumor saga continues! After the game was confirmed to be receiving misinformation last month – and it was rated in Korea shortly after – Christoph Gans, director of the franchise reboot at movieconfirms that new games are in development.

New Silent Hill games are in development

Known as one of the most influential horror franchises, Konami made its mark on gaming history with Silent Hill, but remained in the shadows after the cancellation of Silent Hills in 2016.

However, in a recent interview during the Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival (Via He will be dropped), Christoph Gans, director of The Horror in Silent Hill (2006), says there are several games in the franchise currently in development.

During the interview, Christoph Gans confirmed that although he does not work directly on the games, he does know some details about the production. According to him, while Silent Team is working on new products, Bloober Team, also a subsidiary of Konami, is currently working on a remake of Silent Hill 2.

“This is Konami, they are working on several games. The Bloober Team is working on a remake of the second game, but there are a few more teams.”
