Tarek El Moussa, HGTV star “Flip or Flop,” and his girlfriend, Heather Rae Young from “Selling Sunset,” Netflix, quietly finished selling outside the market in Costa Mesa, spilling their modern farmhouse for $ 2.705 million.

That’s $ 430,000 more than El Moussa paid in 2018 and $ 130,000 for the asking price, according to records.

“I realize the value of my home is the highest ever and now will be a great opportunity to sell,” El Moussa said. “I also realize that prices will not stay this high, which drives my decision to take profits and sell high, sit on the sidelines for a year or two, and then buy low.”

Not surprisingly, the HGTV star made several changes during her stay, touching the floor-to-ceiling fireplace in the living room and the large marble island in the kitchen. A large open floor plan with white-painted beams, glass walls and administrative windows is anchored in a 3,000-square-foot home.

Elsewhere there are four bedrooms and four bathrooms, including the main bedroom under a dramatic domed ceiling.

Most public spaces open to outdoor living areas with lounges and dining rooms. Past that, the fire pit overlooks the pool and spa. A grill and bar complete the view in the back, and the garage taps the electric car charging station in front.

The property, which was built in 2015, is located about two miles from water in Eastside Costa Mesa.

Jason Oppenheim and Heather Rae Young from the Oppenheim Group hold the list. Tim Smith and John Yasko from the Smith Group represent buyers.

“I contacted several local agents to tell them that Tarek sold his house. The agents brought their clients to the same day and we had two offers, which were requested excessively, the following morning, “Young said.

In the Orange County real estate scene, El Moussa has flipped home in Southern California for its hit show “Flip or Flop,” which will air its ninth season this summer. Other properties include a 50 foot cruise ship with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Young stars on Netflix’s “Selling Sunset”, a reality series that focuses on the list of luxury goods marketed by the Oppenheim Group. His second season will premiere on May 22.
