Surprise. Skype gets an update with a new design and other news

HIn recent years, Microsoft seems to be focusing more on the Teams communication and collaboration platform, leaving Skype almost in oblivion. Despite this, the technology company Redmond has decided to release an update that offers Skype users a new design as well as some new features.

How android site headers, Skype users who have access to this update can find a number of new themes (in addition to the traditional light and dark ones) with multiple color options. There is also an option to add more contrast to the interface, which will allow visually impaired people to have a better user experience.

In terms of new features, Microsoft has decided to allow up to a hundred people to participate in a single video call. The company also intends to soon offer real-time text and speech translation, which will certainly be useful to companies and organizations that employ people from different walks of life.

Finally, a new tab will also be integrated into the main page, where you can see the latest news and users can share it with their contacts more quickly.

It is worth remembering that the update will be released soon and, as always, it will be available gradually. Arrival confirmed for Android and iOS.
